Photographer’s Note

This is my version of the Tokyo Tower. I took this earlier today just after sunset.

Tokyo Tower was based on the Eifel Tower and stands at 333m high. The top observation deck is 250m above street level and attracts around 10,000 people every day - not bad when you think that they pay 1420 Yen each (around US$10) for the priveledge.

This photo was taken from the street running alongside the tower. The other building is called the 'Masonic Building' though I have no idea of its purpose.

Great angle and framing. I like how there are lights on here and there in the building. The dark sky is a great background. Beautiful and effective shot.

this is THE one..the other tower looking down was too conventional for an abstract..
strong sharp and well balanced by the differing lines and style of the masonic building..
silly q but...tripod or friendly lamp post..:)

Very nice picture ! toyo tower is not so easy to make look beautiful (ok, parisian point of view), but you succeed !

Yeeees !! What a fantastic nightshot ! Colours and sharpness are just wonderful ! Good contrast between the esthetic tower and the square building, which anyway brings a kind of dynamism in the pic, thanks to the perspective.

I agree with the comments posted here. This night shot is outstanding. I am always fascinated with the night shots and this piece is just brilliant. I had taken the night shot of Tokyo tower with 2004 displayed as well, you can see it here . I was not able to bring the image so sharp like yours.
