Photographer’s Note
Can't associate title with photo? Exactly. It is one of the saying in Japan. I take it as you get to experience more stuff if you wake up early. And this was one of the moment when I felt how correct the saying was...
I went back to Japan visiting my parents for the first time in a couple of years. Worke up early just because it was getting too hot and humid to sleep. Decided to go out and take a walk around the neighbourhood that I grew up in, just to see what's changed. But I never expected this coming. A pig taking a walk... he's even dressed up with nice scalf and body harness... BTW, this is not something you can see easily in Japan... not like a flock of seagull on a beach...
I did some cropping to give more focus on the animal. I owe a lot to the morning sunlight for the lighting effect.
And thanks for all of positive comments!

This is too good to be true! And I love it - the unexpected, the unbelievable and no one else to see and confirm it. But you had your camera and you got a very nice picture with smooth light and colors, sharp and well framed. Boy were you lucky - this is more than 3 cents!! And what did you think?

This is an exact sample for the phrase "You never know!"
Life really full of crazy surprises, you just need to be at the wright time and in the right place and...to have a camera, That's what exactly happened with you !:)
Comic and nicely mild shoot Mr Goof!

Well, this is not a part of my daily life. Never met a pig in the street of Bergen in Norway. It look so unreal. Big is coming outfrom the middle of the photo and walking straight forward to you. Seems like he/she really knows were he/she are going...and in the middle of the road. Great lines in the roads sides to.

The first thing that came to my mind when I first saw this photo was it was PS'ed because it was so unreal. I visited Japan more than 10 times in the last 10 years so I know how unlikely it is to see this kind of scene or, for that matter, in most urban areas.
After reading the commentary, I must said that you were really lucky to see something like this. The lighting is very nice and the photo gives ones the feeling that the environment is almost too sterile. Good work!

This is so unbelievable! First time I saw this picture, thought, this might be the fake pig or composed picture or something… According to you and Boof’s discussions, I understand..., But still, it is so fanny. Meeting a pig with scarf in Saitama?! Wish, I will see the pig!

This real funny and amazing - Even in Denmark where we got a lot of those pigs, its not normal to find walking around in the streets ;-) Ok ever now and then one escapes but surely not with a scarf.
A great and lucky shot (not 3 cent but 2 points more) and may be its a little misplaced under "daily life" - have about Humorous instead. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, really amazing. Especially considering it was all by chance, what a perfect shot. I also thought you photoshop'd this because this is the kind of thing you just don't see in Japan. I like the composition, perfectly centered. yoku yatta!
