Photographer’s Note
In the face of the never ending quest to stand out in a crowd Japan alwasy seems to go that extra step... In what direction that step is can often be very debated but never the less a step in some direction.
as the seasons change you can count on the fashions changing as well. It seems like this winter the shorter the skirt the better. yes in winter... (enter debate in what direction here) and black and white patters also seem to be popular... anyways..
these two girls are what I refer to as Shibuya girls as you see allot of this type in Shibuya. Although this photo was taken in Shinjuku. Some call them Pandas, Kogals, and a vatiety of other names. They were walking like they had business to take care of and the one in front was looking stright at me and giving me a look of "another photographer"

Very candid shot Boof! I haven't managed to muster the bravery to take photos like this yet - maybe tomorrow!
But it's a good shot with nice, tight cropping and the girl staring straight into the camera is a real bonus.

this is great, such a casual scene, just two girls on the street, but they look like models on a fashion show, great poses, great expressions, first class work!
I really like it, those girl are incredible.. crazy Japanese...
goes to my favorites.

I would have to pretend photographing a monument or something to dare to take a picture like this. Thank you for daring :). It's a great shot, I love their arrogant looks, they're trying so hard to be cool (successfully?).

The one on the left looks like a Japanese Britney! That f/1.2 must be a big lens, you would look as subtle as a housebrick waving that about - I wonder what the two J-girls were thinking when you took the photo?
