Photographer’s Note

Mija Miya is an island in front of Hiroshima. There you can see the most famous and calm Torii of Japan. The day I went there were a group of teenagers, I love to see them from the distance. Their clothes, like sailors, give a certain air of timetravel, like a dejá vu. The point also was that they seen quite happy there. Me too. This is a magic place you´ve to visit if you ever go to Japan.

Hola Miguel.
Tanto la composición como la luz son buenas, pero más importante es la escena que refleja la foto (eso me recuerda los reflejos sobre el agua en la arena).
En cierto modo son los constantes contrastes de un país como Japón.
Y eso me gusta.

Hola Miguel, it's nice to read that you have such good memories of the place, and even without clicking, I knew which picture you meant. That's where your intro picture is from as well.
The girls are so neatly dressed that they seem worried about getting their shoes dirty. I like the people in the distance, sitting near the wateredge.

You reminds me some nice moment of the time before it when I was in mid school and we went sometimes around the town(In south of Iran,Abadan),beside the big river there and had a fine moment together and playing and...,
You made me nostalgic,Miguel:)

Hola Miguel,
Todos los adolescentes son iguales aqui o en Japon. Todos necesitan vivir en bandos y les gusta sonreír y jugar con otros. La foto es muy buena, me gustan los colores - el azul principalmente - y la luz más suave.

A large view on this Torii-beach by low tide gives a good additional impression of the environment, nice to include the school-girls in the corner to create a two levelled shot scaling and giving depht at the same.

Nice mood here miguel, it looks like they are having fun. The uniforms match the boats in the background somehow. For the composition I think it could have been nice to have them a little bit more to the center.
