Next to premium sushi, Kobe Beef is another one of Japan's finest foods. At over US$75 a plate for a 180-gram steak, a meal like this isn't cheap. Of course, that included an appetizer, sides, and a glass of wine/beer.
The main entree plate sitting in the foreground as the chefs in the background continue cooking the rest of the meal. Their skilled hands swiftly cook the food while our eyes follow, wondering what they're going to do next. All part of the show... |

Hi Ben,
very good compo. I like the sharpness of the mung beans and the blurred motions of the chefs. The drinking glass to the left is a good framing. I have heard that the cattle of Kobe is fed with beer. So it must be delicious.
Kind regards,
Roland
aaaaaahhhh. Looks delicious. A teppanyaki restaurant, right? One of my favourite styles of cuisine. And Kobe beef? Delicious, although westerners tend to dismiss it as "fatty", but hey, that is where the taste is!
On this image though, despite the title, you've focused on the bean sprouts. The meat has the possibility of looking so darned good, but is just a tad soft.
Anyway, makes we want to eat this dish - tomorrow's dinner is now decided! Thanks.
Nice Compo...The food seesm to be nice, I have never had this...
I like this & it is as if it is a sequel to my, Shabu-Shabu...
Though the light is little overexposed at the Top...What the hell, it is still a nice shot...
TFS
Prem.
