Photographer’s Note
I took this picture because everytime I go to any bookshop, I find people reading for hours beyond hours there and after that, they dont buy anything.
I liked the pink mixtures of books there.
What do you think?

Funny to imagine that designer of these books most likely receives some payment about designing the cover of each book ;)
I would not say that this picture is something veery beautiful - but it shows the everyday life very well. That's what I like about it

Hello Daniel, very well in the spirit of TE :) Learn about the world through photography ! Do you know what kind of books those are ? Good note anyway.

Very nice shot of every day Japan. Reading in a store like this is so common, there's a word for it -- tachiyomi. To CVTJan, those books are serial comic books; that's why they look so similar.

Hi Dan. Another very interesting shot. I love bookshops in the orient, and it has been my observation as well that many stay there for great periods of time, reading but not buying. Your picture gives a very good feel for a Japanese bookstore. Thanks!
