Photographer’s Note
I was cycling Tsurumai park on the same day as last and I came across this photo opportunity and I saw this strange guy feeding these tortoises cat food with chopsticks, it was a funny site to see and it attracted alot of attention, lots of couples began smiling and owwwwwwwing and finally two cats appeared and gobbled up the cat food, it was also funny to see the cat eating along side the shell friend and there was this one time, when the cat jumped a metre in the air because it was scared of the Ninja mutant turtle type creature.
I hope you like the picture.
It has been cropped

hi dan, what a cute, nice picture with lovely composition so nicely reflecting the place and the "action" (if you can use this world in combination with the turtles:-))

Haha, fun story again, Dan, and a nice photo to go with it. Unusual sight with the guy chopstick-feeding the turtles. Nice framing in which the green branches add a bit of intimacy and the purple reflections bring additional interest.

Hi Dan, What a scene. This guy was feeding the turtles or trying to eat the turtles? A well seen and well captured scene. The reflections of the red flowers on the water showing some of the unseen side of the bank. The picture is well taken and nice DOF. We can see the veins on the hand with chopsticks. Well done.

Quite a funny find Dan. Good timing, cathcing him just at the point of passing on the food. Shame about the twig.

It's hard to realize if he's trying to FEED them with the chopsticks or maybe, to pick one into his mouth ;-)
What a funny picture, but also a very nice one, with the purple reflection on the water surface and the interesting cap, that looks like a turtle, too.
Well done, Dan.

Hi Dan
I like the refection of the bougainvillea in the water. The camouflage hat amongst the bushes is a nice bonus. The tortoises are, of course, the star attraction. Well done!

This is a great and interesting action in the composition.
Nice choice of a subject, and a great smile to this unusual situation for us here .
Happily he has not choosen to feed elephants :)))
Well cropped for the balance, the quality is good.

Hi Dan - funny and interesting subject, great crop job, the magenta reflection of the blossoms add warm colour without distracting attention from what is happening in front.

Hi Dan, I had seen this one, but no time to comment. I like this picture, it shows something that I would have never guessed tortoises being fed with chopsticks. I like the pink reflection too.
