Photographer’s Note
This was taken at one of the many shrines around Kyoto. People prior to entering the temples would wash their hands and face in the water.
If you ever get the chance to go to Kyoto, take advantage of it. It is a photographers Eden with a wealth of opportunities. Unfortunately I only had one day there but I'll return as soon as possible.

hey donald
I did'nt liked this photo as much as I liked many other photos of yours ... I feel that there is too much of noise in this photo of yours .... the stone thing in front is sort of portruding, color tones are very well balanced though ... there are many other elements of tranquaility also ....
nicely done
i had a nice time looking at other photos of yours too ... thanks for sharing them
cheers

Nice shot Don;
You must be keeping yourself busy, I haven't seen you on TE in a little while- and was surprised to see your critiques earlier today (BTW- Thanks). Your back in Canada now aren't you Don? I'm hoping to make a trip to Tokyo in the next few months. Japan is always a fascinating country to visit!
Great composition on this photo Don, and the DOF is good too!
I've done a workshop with a few little suggestions if your interested.
Catch you soon!
