While in Japan, I visited many castles. One of my favourites was the "Crow Castle" at Matsumoto, which had never been attacked. The castle had also escaped fire, and destruction during the Meiji Restoration, and lays claim to the (disputed) title as the oldest original castle in Japan.
My hotel was near the castle, allowing me the opportunity to capture some photos of the stunningly lit castle at night.

You have managed to capture the reflections really well in an almost black and white shot

First time I found your name on TE, and taken a short stroll in your gallery.
Beautiful night shot with a perfect reflection, good clarity and contrast.
The castle is prominently illuminated against the dark sky.

Kia ora David,
nicely composed shot with this mirror-image reflection. Good lighting. Cheers, Neil

A well composed and exposed shot. I like the way the castle and its reflection seem to exist within a complete void, like a spaceship in space.
