Photographer's Note
I used fish-eye lens (15mm F2.8) in order to cover big and tall festival floats and many participants who struggle for tighting the ropes. Later thses floats were carried to the beach by them.

Hello Takero. Festivities, flags, shrines, - and active participants. By using the wide-angle photo has a lot of momentum. As a viewer you feel right in the picture. Well seen and presented. Rgds, Wolfgang.

hello dear Takero
Use of the fish-eye is just perfect here. It brings out how crowded the scene is and focusses on the strength and action in the middle of it all.

Hello Takero - Your wide angled lens and POV have accentuated the effort put into the manoeuvring of these floats very well. The shot is dynamic and the inward curve of the towering floats adds to the drama. Fine work indeed! warm regards rosemary

Hello Takero,
This time you found a slightly different but very expressive and fine POV. The fish-eye has captured a lot of action, as well as the tall structure with the catchy red flags on top- A fine and impressive photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Takero,
fantastic idea to use the fish-eye lens here. The effect is spectacular. Not only you have squeezed so much here and made the composition look pleasantly busy but also the distortion adds a nice aspect here.
Great combination of people with some traditional elements all around.
Excellent work,
M

Hello Takero, Looks like muscle alley here with these men working so hard to tighten the ropes. You have a bit color here as well with the banners and flags in the background. Another interesting cultural presentation which I have enjoyed. Regards, Roger

Hello dear Takero-san!
This is a great example of how to use a wide angle lens! Excellent! The distortion is so very likable...15 mm provided aan almost circular view...the strain is visible on the men, but the beauty of the shrine as well! Excellent!
Best Regards Takero-san

Hello dear Takero,
a wonderful picture full of fascinating details, colours and drama. Drama is created both by the view through the fish lens, the point of view and the situation. The bodies of the bearers and the float form a great angle filling most of the frame. The blue and white sky is a superb backdrop and attention is drawn to the banners as well. Lighting and colours are exquisite, the clear perception of the traditional elements and the tense atmosphere is stunning. Well done and thank you!
All the best,
Ourania
