Photographer's Note
This was shortly after dark at Kawaguchiko (Lake) just down the road from where I took a couple of shots of Mount Fuji that I've posted. The Momiji Matsuri (Red Leave Festival) takes place at this time of year to celebrate the Autumn Leaves in all their splendour. Of course these are being falsely lit from below. To the right of this scene were a number of stalls selling farm produce, typical of this kind of town festival in rural Japan.
