Another example of great interior architecture of Japan. This one is a gaming center in Akihabara, Tokyo. You can either love or loath the crazy colors and the shape of this staircase, but once you're there, you won't stay indifferent about it.

I love this photo. Circular staircases, when viewed from the top looking down, or from the bottom looking up, create "logarithmic spirals." This is a modern variation of that theme, with superb light management, colors, and resolution. Warm regards, I wrote about this in Logarithmic Spiral. Again, wonderful shot.
