This photograph is taken on the Arakawa river bank in Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama. Arakawa river is first-grade river of full length 173km which flows through Saitama Prefecture and Tokyo with which it fills Tokyo Bay. In the dry riverbed facing a river, tracts of land such as a baseball ground and a park are located, and the slightly elevated bank has extended along the river on the outside. Moreover, the bridge is built over some places of the winding river, and the car or the train are rampant. It was good weather in comparison on that day, and Mt. Fuji could be seen in the distance. When I was walking along the bank in the direction of Toda, it passed by those who are taking the dog for a walk well. Probably, they are the residents who live around here. Morning sunlight was illuminating the bank calmly.

Hello Mikio. This is a beautiful B&W. Thanks for the information about the Arakawa River. I learn plenty from your narratives. The dog in the FG is very cute.

An interesting shot of this daily life scene. The B&W version makes it truly unique and original. Like it a lot.
Have a nice WE!

Summery bl/w scene, hard light but well captured. I like the position of the dog, all the way towards the bottom edge of the frame.

this is a lovely play of lines and tones. The view is simple but well composed.
Exciting neat presentation.
