This is the same sunflower farm that I took the first "Furano Sunflowers" shot at, but I opened up the depth of field just a little and included more of the flowers. The line of orange in back is the next field of flowers.
Some will be pleased to know this is the last one.

Suprbe composition, la netteté aléatoire rend cette image vraiment intéressante. Les couleurs sont parfaite, le cadrage est magnifique. J'aime beaucoup cette photo.

great use of DOF here. I always like sunflowers field photos. Unfortunately, I never came acoss one up to now.
I especially like the fact that you made a subtle background. If I remember well the various pictures I already saw on TE, the horizon issue is always something tricky to solve. I do like this orange layer to materialize the horizon. You were really lucky to find this !
Is it normal the DOF is so narrow at f5.6 ? I believe it would be wider on my digital camera ? It's just a question beacause I do think you made the perfect choice by selecting such a narrow focus !

If you get to focus only 1 SunFlower, the picture it was fantastic

martin i dont know if its coincidence or you picked the 3-4 sunflowers(focused ones) facing towards one direction & they are giving this respect bowed look infact as if they are looking at some thing while other flowers are busy..this foto is philosophical to me..

Martin, I like this photo, colors are so vivid, composition is great.
What settings are you using on the 10D?
I have same camera but am not sure yet what to choose for contrast and saturation settings..

I will not be pleased if this is the last of your sunflower pictures. nicO

I first wondered why you kept the orange line of the next field... But trying to crop it out on my screen, I was missing something. But I'll keep wondering why...
Very fresh, sharp & clear image, I love it and I'm sure Vincent would have loved it too!

Absolutely fabulous. The orange horizon is a perfect contrast. The luminosity attenuated gives an unreal side to the composition.

Bonita flor martin adorei mesmo. Nesta foto utilizou uma macro? Eu tenho uma Konica minolta Dimage G500 mas nao sei se obtenho um resultado tao bom como o que está aqui.
