I spied this dragonfly perched on a withered poppy amongst the sunflowers.

Great composition, sharpness and DOF. Colors are also beautiful. I just wonder if the blur is natural, particulary at the bottom of the poppy? Something seems wrong there. I would have prefer seeing clearly the whole poppy and reframing it to eliminate some background that may overload your picture.

Good capture of what looks to be a female darter dragonfly possibly (Sympetrum striolatum) which I know is fairly wide spread across the northern hemisphere.
I like the balance as an art pic , though for my tastes I would of cropped it quiet a bit tighter to centre up the beast. Very good wild capture though , so a big well done

I'd crop this one a lot. Take away much of the right side, some of the top and bottom. Leave just enough yellow to have a presence, not a major role.
You've got a very good capture of dragonfly, poppy and the hint of caterpillar. Bring those elements to the picture rather than hiding them in the color blobs.

Very nice macro shot colors and sharp details, I'd crop most of the yellow patch on the left though, it kind of distracts my eyes!

Martin, Id crop some from the right side but I like the depth of field. Nice shot (c'mon dSLR) I seem to be noticing dof lately.........
