Yes, I know that I had said sayonara to Nikko, but how to omit this shot of Chuzenjiko Onsen enveloped by night?
I thought I had somehow lost this image as it wasn't transferred from my memory card into my documents file from which I select my photos for Photoshop. I went searching for this one and a few of its brethren that were also missing. I found then inside the memory card and I am puzzled why six photos were not transferred with hundreds of others into my documents.
Anyway, here it is- a small township by the shores of Lake Chuzenji nestling between the mountain and the lake.

No, I agree, you could not omit to share this night scene with us. Composition, dark grey and heavy clouds; perfect contrast and playing with the street and house lights of the village reflected in the lake. Well done !
A definite 'sayonara' ??
Wish you a nice weekend.

Well its good that you didn't reformat your card before you checked all your images. This one is a beauty. Excellent clarity and superb light management.

Hi Klaudio, Nicely composed image. I really like the warm highlights around the buildings contrasting with the cooler colours of the surrounding area. Only think I'm not sure about is the blurring of the clouds around the mountain tops - caused by long exposure I guess? cheers, steve

"lost and found" :))
Very beautiful and heart-warming scene with these three bright lights reflected in the quiet water! The whole scene (especially that part in the very distance, in the BG) looks a bit fantastic. Perhaps all Japan itself is a very fantastic country in many respects. I hope to see it with my own eyes.
"hundreds of others" photos... perhaps, when I go to Japan, I will take a whole suitcase of memory cards with me to take thousands of photos! LOL
Warmest greetings from Moscow (snow-storm here again)

Good Morning Klaudio,
What a mood you have captured here!
The warm lights and the safety of the houses beckons, as grey clouds and mist envelope the surrounding area.
Beautifully composed and sympathetically presented!
Have a good day,

This beautiful scene has a special atmosphere and air perspective due to the excellent background, as well as brightness and colorfulness due to the glistering foreground. Perfectly well composed and captured!

What a wonderful compostion. Very dreamy indeed.
I love the white-ish straight like on the water on the right side of the photo.

Hi Klaudio, the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing, reflections, the misty blue hour are wonderful, and we are lucky again that you didn't omit this one. What are the swan things at the bottom left corner, boats? sea bikes? It would be a real dreamy holiday to be at this place for a summer vacation. Selamlar.

Hi Klaudio, Well timed during the so-called Blue hour between day and darl. The lights and their reflections in the lake are delightful. TFS. Murray.

I'm glad you did not lose this picture. Great capture at the blue moment, so atmospheric. Long exposure
has smoothed the clouds nicely.
Best regards from icy, snowy and cold Finland!
