Photographer’s Note
This is a shot at the Ginza. Crowded street, about a hundred people were waiting till the traffic lights turn green. Almost a rush hour, people hurled past me as I tried to take a shot.
The Ginza is the most exclusive and expensive shopping area in Japan. It is also known for having the most expensive real estate on earth. The streets are lined with neon signs, department stores, boutiques, bars and restaurants. One can find all leading fashion brands having at least one shop/boutique here.
The name Ginza comes from "silver mint" which the Shogun built in the area during 1600's. Japan chose to be a secluded country for over two hundred years, and in 1860, they opened to foreign trade and western architecture and imports were first displayed at the Ginza.

You should have pressed yourself against a lamp post or reduced the shutter speed further. This could have been a really nice shot but you ended up with a not particularly appealing blur. On the other hand it does bring back nice memories of wandering around Ginza in an alcoholic haze.
