Photographer's Note

The Japanese tend to be a quiet people whether in crowded places like railway stations or at popular tourist venues. Regardless of numbers, the volume is lowered by half in comparison to many other countries both Eastern or Western. So at this time of day, even though there were several young folk around, the silence was not broken. I focused on this couple as they offered a nice balance to the composition
