This is a gun parties of matchlock, so one blow takes big sound and much smoke. And it takes long time to stand by for another blow.

There is a great mood here, Takero. The ancien clothes, the realistic position, and the smoke that makes disappear the crowd (too modern for the scene!) are captured with a good timing. Bravo.

the most intriguing thing in this image is the wonderful light: it creates these long shadows, illuminates the men from the side and gives "body" to the clouds of smoke... truly beautiful.

Dear Takero-san
A fine reportage image of the show. Like the ambiance created and thanks to your high shutter speed, the sharpnels of the bullets fired have been frozen in the air. Like also the long shadows which create an interesting pattern on the green grass. Good work!
