Photographer’s Note
I was caught to red of this oinari-sama on a cycling. When the sunlight filtering down through the trees hit attractively the inari shrine, i captured that scene.
Oinari-sama (お稲荷様, also Inari 稲荷) is a popular deity of rice, agriculture, and business prosperity. Two fox statues are sitting at both sides of the entrance.

Hi Hisashi
Ah I love that red, it's shining even here in the shade of the trees and shouts at me from the vignette !
Framing is a bit tight, stitching vertical frames would have been an option here
Have a nice day JY

Hello Hisashi,
It is a pleasure to discover Japan through your photos. I like the framing of this one which is well using the impact of the red color.
I was thinking you have a 5D mk2, you came back to the 5D?
Yves.

Hello Hisashi,
You choosed a good point of view to highlight the sharp profile of this red fence brought in fine soft light. The foxes provide a pleasant additional element and the red is wonderfully echoed in the textile wrapped around their neck.

Paul

Hello Hisashi-san
Delightful use of twin perspective thanks to your corner POV. The red simply jumps out of the picture! Framing is a bit tight IMHO. I also learnt something new about your country's culture today!

Hi Hisashi,
I just checked your front page and I guess I saw the whole color spectrum :) You made great use of the intense red tone in this one. The fence pops up in the frame. Another good feature is the strong perspective. Great job!

Bonjour Isachi
You've handled very well the different intensity of luminosity...I also like the way you've displayed the temple with the vivid red fence playing an important part in the image. The statues are inviting to penetrate into the inari shrine. 1/15s...a steady hand ;)
Cheers

Hi Hisashi, I am drawn to this photo by a number of things, firstly the obvious and beautiful red hue, secondly the sharpness and "life" to the image, and thirdly the fantastic effect created by the wide angle lens. You really do know how to make that 5D do some magic things. TFS and enjoy your weekend, Lisa.

Ciao Hisashi,
Davvero molto bravo!
Francesco
