Photographer’s Note

Cette photo a été prise dans le quartier de Gion, à Kyoto, où résident les Geisha et les Maiko, apprenties geisha. On reconnaît ces-dernières aux pans de leur obi (ceinture)laissés longs et pendants, ainsi qu'à leur nuque laissée nue en forme d'éventail. Des taxis résevés viennent les chercher pour les emmener vers leurs riches clients.
Comme on le voit sur la photo les rues sont noires de monde, pour la plupart des touristes japonais, qui attendant de voir sortir ces dames pour les mitrailler de photo : elles attendent patiemment que le taxi arrive en prenant une pose élégante puis montent à toute vitesse dans la voiture...En 1 minutes, le spectacle est fini !!!

Welcome to TE community. I see that you have posted 5 photos here and received no critiques. You have also given critiques and comments. I would suggest you use critique instead of comemnt, because it helps better to learn about other's work.

This shot caught my attention because of the Japanese traditional dress and the urban street view. Not really the best way to shoot from the back but I suppose you did fine with exposure, focus and the composition. If only Maiko would turn around to look at the camera.

I quite like the crowd of photographers and lookers here to make this more interesting.

I hope your interest in photography will bring you joy and sharing with others here. Keep shooting and posting.

Good capture of busy Geisha in traditional clothes. Attention of audiences are noticeable to her while as same your's during the capture. Congratulations.
