Photographer’s Note
I realize that the quality of this particular picture isn't the best. At the time I hadn't fully realized my love for photography (nor did I have the equipment) but this is one of my all time favorite pictures. If I had only one picture to describe Japan this would be it. Culture meets technology. This was taken during the 2008 Nabuta Festival in Aomori, Japan.

Welcome to TE community. This is very interesting start to share your photography here with this 1st post entry of public view of festival in Japan.
It is useful for you to read FAQ, Guidelines and ABOUT, especially about resize of file for upload especially viewing other galleries and giving critiques to improve your photography skill.
This is very nice work for your 1st TE post. Although I can see there is a blur in focus sharpness and perhaps avoid the crop of the girl at right, the umbrella sticking out of her head. Just some comments.
