Photographer’s Note
Matsushima Kaigan (Bay at the Island of red pines) is a legendary northern Japanese bay. The nature of it is praised by poets such as Basho. Today, it is a tourist attraction. This boat offers tourists a cruise through the world of more than 250 tiny islands spread out in the pacific.
Matsushima is a very touristic place and not a typical Japanese town. It has many temples and souvenier shops and is well known for oyster restaurants.
The dragonboat reminds a little of a Viking ship. I took the photo in the evening to get more saturated colors.

Hello Mike,
The shot is good and the warm colors of the boat give a sensation of live to the dragon.
Good Sunday
