The continuation from "Thanks to Horses festival". This year 10 dressed up horses were gatherred at the shrine. All horses made a procession in the village. They just started from the shrine getting a new year sunlight.

Dear Takero,
Another superb shot you present from intriguing Japan. If we judge Japan on your library alone it must be the most celebratory nation on earth :) It seems there is a festival on almost a daily basis. I love the way you have caught this shot as the horse takes the first step into the sunshine with that leading hoof. Superb colour, detail and saturation as always friend

Konichiwa Takero san
another truly wonderful shot out of your repetoire of japanese festivals. The decorations both on horses and men are again amazing, so colorful. And the way the whole procession is stepping out of the shadows in to the sun just gives the shot a sense of anticipation on whats to come. Again a truly wonderful picture.

The colour in this shot is stunning, and makes for a beautiful image. Hoe nice to see a celebrate of the horses, such noble and proud animals, so it is really nice to see them held in esteem and celebrated. I agree with Kathryn, the celebrants in Japan that you share with us are incredible. I also like the hat of the man in the background which makes him look like a mushroom :)

These children on the horsebacks are so cute. They learn the Japanese traditional cultures from young age. That's a good thing.
