Photographer’s Note
This is a famous temple complex in Iwate Prefecture. And the most famous one is the Chusonji Temple. It is golden temple plated with thin film of gold. The temple was once destroyed by the fire and now is being completely restored and is being preserved inside the building seen in this photo. Photographs are not allowed inside. Hence, probably that is why this is the most photographed site there.

Hi Rabin
I love this photo, it perfectly illustrates the vision I have of Japanese temples... The mood here is just fantastic.
On a more technical side, the composition is really good… that “green frame” is just perfect, and colours are softer, as one expects from a scene like this.
Another great one ;)

I like the vibrant colours, and your composition and framing are good. We can just about catch a glimpse of the golden temple inside its wooden home. It reminds me a lot of when I went there... I was so disappointed that we weren't allowed to take photographs inside of the golden temple itself.
By the way, you got the location wrong. Chusonji is in the town of Hiraizumi, not Iwate.
