I'm sorry I've been remiss in commenting on your recent remarkable shots, Takero! This is a nice one, a classic of yours, showing a performer at rest in a moment of humanity. The contrast of the cold environment and the hot flame works well, and it's easy to see why he's chosen this spot to rest. What was he performing in?
Thanks,
Andrew

Hello
As I see, the day was very cold, so it is no wonder that a man warming up with a hot drink by the fire. Placing the pot in the foreground was a great idea. Great reportage photography.

Dear Takero,
this picture is not only masterly composed and shot from perfect POV - it actually makes me dwell on it for quite a while exploring detail after detail. Very interesting scene and so real! I like all the natural colors which highlight the character of this photo.
TFS and have a good evening!

Hi Takero,
Really beautiful composition with the flames and the old kettle in the foreground, making a beautiful lead into the shot. The capture of the man enjoying his respite from the show, and a well deserved hot drink in the snow is brilliant, he seems to be in a world occupied only by his sake. Really nicely done, and as always, superb depth of field.
All the best
Noel

Hello Takero - The way you have composed this with the kettle in the FG and the warm blooms of flame give the shot a good immediacy, I feel as if I an sat opposite the sake drinker. He looks deep into the depths of his cup... is he contemplating another shot do you think, or will it spoil his performance? Good shot and a fascinating 'behind the scenes' glimpse. Warm regards rosemary

Hi Takero,
Even though I have not been on Trek Earth for a while, I am glad to see that you are still delighting us with wonderful culturally rich images. Here I really love the iron kettle on the flames in the foreground as an introduction element and it sets the scene for the man drinking his hot beverage to keep warm. Good focus on the man too.
Regards
Wanda
