Photographer’s Note
Here is the south lake(Nan-ko) in Fukushima Prefecture in the Tohoku region. The mind was moved to shining on of the evening sun the lake side when strolling in
the lake side, and I chose the place and took the photograph.
Innumerable white herons were seen in a small island in the lake and a lot of ducks were able to be seen on the lake side at this time, though it is not reflected in the photograph
(p.s)
The south lake park (nan-ko park) is Fukushima prefectural Wildlife Park in Fukushima Prefecture Shirakawa City. It is the oldest park in Japan. It is specified for the historic site and the place of scenic beauty in the country on 1924.
Though the park system of Japan is from in 1873, the reason that is called, "South lake" is "The oldest park in Japan" is that thought "Both of four people(Samurai, Farmer, Merchant and Workman) are easy" in which people can have the relief excess the difference of the position is made a place opened as recreation ground, and do the in existence of it until today as for ground in this lake where Shirakawa feudal lord Matsudaira Sadanobu made in 1801.

Mikio,
difficult light conditions to point the camera against the sun, but you had an interesting foreground with the waterplans on the surface breaking the sunpath through the water. Nice golden atmosphere.

Hi Mikio,
This image is sharp and its colours seem very natural.
Very good POV and amazing details.

Hello Mikio,
I have to look at your gallery since my name is also Kato, but I'm Hungarian, not Japanese.
I like the colours in this picture with the interesting sillhouettes. Good use of duotone. Only thing I would try is to bring out the outline of the island in the mid left by using the dodge tool.
