After a sexy Samba carnival lady, back to that mysterious night dance again. I remaind that Japan is very unique country, as these quite different cultures, traditions and customs are together at the same time, right now too.

These are very strange and mysterious persons, but their dresses and headgear are interesting and quite beautiful. You have captured them in a good light and looking between them I detect some very interesting activities in the background.

I am attracted to beautiful articulate blue patterns in the traditional robes, offset by red trims, and the mysterious masked participants, and a bonus with the paper lantern lights in the background.
Definitely a special festival and I wish I could be there,

Encore une étonnante image de ce festival un peu étrange mais coloré.

Slightly spooky because of the hidden faces, but I remember from a previous posting that this is part of the deal in this particular festival. Great, vibrant colours; your flash has not washed out or bleached the highlights at all. Good work.

Konichiwa Takero san
And it is exactly that mysterious and rich culture that makes Japan such an interesting and beautiful country.
The list of festivals you are showing us here seems to be endless and one is more beautiful than the other.
Again the hidden faces add a lot the mystique mood of this composition. Perfect exosure on the dresses of the men and women in the foreground with the scattered and nervous background nicely darkned out.
have a great day
