This is another output from different night festival.
They did dance performance in order to invite ancestor's sport coming bak to home as same as previous one. But they cover this kind of Japanese traditional cloth towel on face like this. There are belived to be many reasons but the most relaiable reason is like this. Once upon a time there were so many battles amiong tribes there and they stole ladies from another town. In order not be stolen, ladies covered thier faces not to be idntified by "lady", they dis so and tradition still continues by now. I am not sure that is ture or not, anyway very attractive and amazing dance perfomance. I was so much impressed.

the black dots and white scarf are a smart eye catching subject.

very interesting note accompany this shot. With such a cover it is difficult to remove it. Myanmar women tattooed their faces in order not to be stolen. Fantatic portrait. The eyes are so beautiful. Splendid light management and perfect sharpness. I am looking forward to other photos from your recent trip.

This is not the most usual picture for take.
The head kerchief makes everything a little bit invisible.
This is not pleasant for the photographer.
But a very good portrait again.
Excellent captured, excellent composition.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

complimenti per questo eccellente ritratto, molto originale anche per l'abbigliamento del soggetto.
Ottima la messa a fuoco e la gestione del colore e del contrasto.
Ciao e buon fine settimana

Lovely, simple close-up portrait. This partly covered face still manages to allow the beauty to show through. If your explanation is true, the face covering can't have stopped many girls being kidnapped! Good work.

An interesting note Takero. What really strikes me about this shot is the way that the covered face draws attention to the eyes. They are beautiful with their distinctive almond-shape and deep brown colouring. The twinkle of light in them is perfect for the shot. Warm regards rosemary

This is a fine portrait, even though we only see half of her face. Your explanation is interesting, maybe even true :-). You established a good eye-contact and the light has been very nicely managed.

Hello Takero - sorry for my long absence! A bit of a break from TE over the summer. I'm happy to return and catch up on wonderful shots like this one, with dynamic lighting and a really striking pose and scarf. The eyes, still visible, are piercingly clear. Wonderful work, my friend!

Hello dear Takero,
a very fine portrait rendered with amazing depth and sharpness that make it so vivid. The lighting is superb too and offers great artistic quality to what looks like a spontaneous capture.
