Kakunodate (Japanese: 角館町; -machi) is a town located in Senboku District, Akita, Japan.
On September 20, 2005 the town merged with the town of Tazawako and the village of Nishiki to form the new city of Senboku.
In 2003, the town had an estimated population of 14,138 and a density of 90.26 persons per km². The total area was 156.63 km².
The town is famed for its preserved samurai houses and the proliferation of cherry trees. It is a popular destination for hanami, or cherry-blossom viewing. It is sometimes referred as 'the little Kyoto of Tohoku' (みちのくの小京都 Michinoku no sho-kyoto).

Interesting photo of Samurai house.
Good POV and frame, but something don't like me in this photo. Perhaps is a little dark.

i like this one better than the temple... adding that trunk of the tree into the compo has been a good idea i think, a good balance with the green plant on the right... weldone marci...

Szia Marci!
Ilyenre mondják, hogy bonyolult fényviszonyok. De a hangulaton kívül sok részletet is sikerült visszaadnod, az elrendezés (ahogy mélységében szépen berendezed a teret egy alapvetően lapos témánál) is tetszik.

A fények tényleg nem voltak ideálisak, de remekül oldottad meg a dolgot, kiválóan találtad el a záridőt. A scannelés is jó, csak néhány helyen látszik porszemcsék nyoma. Egyetértek Lacival, a téma lapos, mégis jó képet tudtál kihozni belőle. Grat.
