Photographer's Note
On my first travel to Japan, I was lucky enough to visit Imabari Castle.
The castle was built by Todo Takatora a daimyo who fought allong side Tokagawa in the battle for Sekigahara.
The building was destroyed by order of the Meiji goverment, and re buildt in 1980.

It is a very nice piece of traditional Japanese architecture. The picture is very good with a pleasant composition and good colours. Well done.
For the note, I would like to know when was the original castle built and destroyed. Thanks.

Halloen Halgeir
Der va bildet komt fram ser eg!
Lovely photo, I must agree with Vinicio that this photo is oozing Japan.
Quality looks good, composition is maybe a little strange as I feel the statue in the foreground making the photo look slightly off balance.
Overall, a great photo.

Hello Halgeir,
A well balanced composition, leading my eyes to the typical Japanese architecture!
The statue in front helps creating a fine feeling of depth, and the wonderful blue sky makes a great background!

Hey Mann!
Alt står bra t! Med deg og? Du må sei fra neste gang du e her.
A beautiful building you've captured here. Some really nice places you get to visit in your new job:) The overall view of the photo is good but as OJ says the statue kinda ruins it from this POV. And you should've added more details in it.. But the japan-feeling is there!
