Very nicely done, David, the way you maintain the motion blur on the hand while the rest is sharp (maybe not as sharp as it could be...)
Artful and subtle, like the subject itself.

Hello David,
Thanks for this picture which is very interesting due to the blur of movement of the hand: it gives the idea of movement and it is good for a photo on the calligraphy.
I propose in workshop a other setting for your photo in order to modify the white balance and to get back a white paper.

Interesting idea this, and I think it's worked out pretty well. The off-alignment of the black surround is also very nice against the white(ish) paper.
