Photographer’s Note
The warrior-prince Takatora Todo began the construction of the castle in 1602 and moved here from his castle at Uwajima in 1608 when the palace was completed.
The location of Imabari Castle was very important as a strategic militarily point from which to control traffic through the Seto Sea.

Ciao Roberto,

Ciao Roberto!
Impressive and beautiful building in a wonderful natural surrounding! Excellent framing and composition, you have a small "problem" with the "washed out" sky, but the important part, the castle and the garden are well lighted! Congratulations!
Merry Christmass and best wishes to you and your loved ones!
Hercules
