Photographer’s Note
Beer is pronounced "bi-ru" in Japanese and is the most popular alcohol beverage in Japan. Open-air beer gardens are open during the summer in department stores, hotels, parks and so on. Drinking in beer gardens is a summer tradition in Japan. Also, common brands of beer can be purchased from vending machines everywhere in Japan. If you are drinking bottled beer with someone in Japan, it is polite to pour some for your company first. Legal drinking age is 20 in Japan.
Japan is in 6th place in Beer consumption in the world.
Kirin Beer is one of the famous beer available in Japan. This picture was taken at a supermarket in Oiimachi in Tokyo.
The first Kirin beer factory was established in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama in 1907 with help from Thomas Glover, the Scottish trader. It is still there today. The brewery had originally been founded as Spring Valley Brewery in 1870, and combined with Meiji-ya to market Kirin Beer for the first time in 1888.

Hi Siva. This is an interesting detail from Japanese daily life, even more so as I will be traveling to Japan for the first time in 2½ weeks. A good diagonal perspective along the supermarket display, showing some of the available brands and resulting in a quite rhythmic and graphically appealing shot. Great informative notes, too.

Hi Sivakumar,
This is a difficult light and inddor shot that you handled so well and with a splendid perspective and enquadremnt giving a graphic and diagonal geometric effect. The beers are also seen and at front of our eyes. Thanksfor the offer and your great quality eye-catch vision. Clear picture, good light, colors, branch details and fine sharpness.
Congratulations and all the best to you.
Best Regards.

Like it, an all too familiar sight in Japan.
Interesting historical note too, you've done some research or you like beer a lot!
In order to maximise the beer effect (?), I'd recommend to have a tighter crop, so there is no open space. Tried a WS, what do you think?
