Photographer’s Note

Busy Japan. Signs, buildings immovable objects stand still in Japan, yet time does not, people do not.

I took this shot in Fukuoka, Japan, a relatively small city compared to some others in Asia I have seen in the past two years, yet a busy one none the less. Japan has a reputation for hard, almost cult like involvement in work. Salary man running about the city streets either on their way to or from work, or in search of other entertainment. Not much changes around their surroundings except for maybe the advertisements on various street posts. These three were able to maintain a slight hint of a smile.

Jacek - the idea, the IDEA is really very good - how you wanted to make these silhouetted human shapes blend nto the "kanji" on the wall as it were. And at thumbnail stage it looks retty damn good bu here's the thing - you needed to:
a) Turn these assersby into true 100% black silhouette (you did not)
b) You had to make them sharper too
So I can only give you a half dose of GREEN while applausing the oncept behind it. Keep em coming...

Hi Jacek,

Love the shot! Busy Japan, a place I surely would like to visit in the future. Francis is right though. Have a look at the workshop and the work I done to it. Hope you like it.

Though still a dark greeny for the effort, since I think the timing here was crucial as well. You need after all a good shot for some good post processing ;-).
