Photographer’s Note
Reality facing glam. Yesterday the guide "Carlos said..." that a member of TE is reading us, forgot to talk about the diversity of the world, and for his anniversary is what I wanted to wish him: A lot diversity whith but also far from Quintanilla and other places.
I loved the confussion of reality, photos and reflections.

Hola Miguel.
Me gusta.

Hi Miguel, this is a nice captured moment in the big city life. The captured mmovement of the buss, the two people looking at something that draw their attention, the adposts, the reflections and all other details gives a glimpse in the busy life of the city. Well captured Miguel!

Hola Miguel,
Abrazos,
Leonor

I really enjoy this disorienting images with the urban signs and architecture as landscape. Everything seems so confusing, yet the subjects are relaxed and living everyday lives. This one is very nice, Miguel!

Congratulations Miguel... a hug, Paco

Felicidades

Miguel,
I've found little time lately to comment on your Japan images and I apologize. This one is just great.
You've captured the essence nicely: reality facing glam. Personally I'm a fan of a little glam, but even so one has to face the fact that the world never lives up to what is advertised.
Here we have a literal boundary between life and advertising glamour: the street and the bus rushing down it, probably carrying commuters. Emphasizing the gap between the two is the mesh of electrical wires. On the far side we can see the store and ads, with all their enticing colours (with the reflection of the Starbucks sign hanging over everything like a ghost). On the near side, where we are and where real life is lived, we see the tired faces of people who've been through a day's work.
On top of that, I love the composition, which has so many elements, in so many layers, but that somehow ends up looking unified, like a well-made collage.
A very lovely shot, a little happy and a little sad at the same time.

Hi Miguel, I enjoy this multiple layer picture very much. You have well shown the busy scene in a dynamic city with a creative way. A lot to enjoy about and some of them need to figure out, like puzzles. A very well taken picture. Well done.

Hola Miguel! Trying to catch up with your photos. I love the complexity in this one, the reflection of the starbucks sign in the upper left (at least I think it's Starbucks), the powerlines, the real faces, and the photographed faces. The bus running past, is nicely blurred.
Good crop!
I hope you're OK!
