Photographer’s Note

End of a labour day... Going back home trying to stole moments from the routine to be used for your own amusement. Outside the streetcar the day is fading out but maybe she has seen it so many times that pay no attention to it... Yes, 60 years back similar situation took place the previous night of the day the plutonium sun reached the city, but today´s today.
This time I´ve been a lonely traveller (without a lonely travel´s guide) and I paid many attention to other lonely people throught Japan. Take care and I hope you like the photo.

Hola Miguel,
En la vida de cada dia muchas vezes no prestamos atención a la puesta del sol,
el espacio, la palabra, los gestos y los otros. Tenemos por delante los estudios, el trabajo, la familia y mil otras preocupaciones menores. Todavia los viajantes están demasiado atentos. Me gusta mucho tu foto, es un momento de reflexión.

Hi Miguel,
nice shot of the lady and her funny hat. I like to travel alone and to be free to react on all situations like I want. Nice colour of the sky therough the window. I like the contrast of inside and outside.

I like this picture a lot. It's a very intense composition, somehow alex webb. Very graphical, beautiful colors, a touch of humor. A lot of stories can be made from a shot like this. congradulations.

Muy bonita nota con la foto del cielo japones.
Es verdad que la gente suele mas leer en el metro que en los autobuses porque se pueden ver cosas que no ves cuando estas caminando.

I like this picture with many stories in it. Not only the end of a working day, but....
What book is he/she reading? What cab we see through the windows? What is the posters about?
So there is much to fantasise about this great picture.

Una escena tipica muy bien capturada que podria ser en cualquier lugar. Me gusta mucho la expresion aburrida de la mujer ocn el libro y el cielo impresionante visto por la ventana.

Hola querido, this is a lovely catch, and a very original way to display a sunset. I like the pink shining on the hoods of the cars, and the two lights on the bus. I appreciate the inclusion of the reading woman, it all makes it such a nice daily Japanese life picture.

Hola Miguel... I will be a lonely traveller too in Indonesia during next September... What is very nice on this picture is this pink sky but the women reading is very intersting in the composition... Bravo!

Ya antes de que te fueras a Japón te dije que esperaba ver fotos tuyas a la vuelta. Ahora que he vuelto de vacaciones, estoy contento de poderlas ver. Esta foto y la nota que la acompaña nos hace darnos cuenta lo fácil que puede ser hacer buenas fotos si uno cuenta con las cirscuntancias adecuadas, cómo lo que explicas en la nota, y tiene la sensibilidad necesaria. La foto así nos cuenta una historia de normalidad y paz, afortunadamente con ese cielo ardiente al fondo.
Algunos reflejos del interior de vagón en el cristal no llegan a dañar la foto.

I love this subtle train study with the purple crepuscular clors contrasting with the lifeless dgreen of the train and that termically bored/tired big girl there. VERY nice work. Bravo amigo! Francis

Y qué decir de ésta. Aquí creo ver una composición muy poética y llena de fuerza: el metro, el tráfico, el bullicio de la ciudad; y en medio de todo esto: una mujer sola leyendo y un cielo brillante sobre el horizonte.

He He Miguel I had forgotten this photograph. the installation of the woman is funny and sad at the same time. one, on the other hand, sees this scene in all the subways of the world. But you, you had the chance and the eye to find superb colors in the sky.

Hola Miguel!
Veo que te hacen trabajar mucho, a ver si cuando terminas, el cielo todavía está como el de la foto, "sunset" impresionante desde (más difícil todavía) el transporte público.
Me gusta mucho la luz que sacaste del interior y del exterior del vagón. El momento también da mucho de que hablar, cansancio, trabajo, sofá de casa... Hace poco sentí esta sensación de "lonely" que comentas, ejerciendo de turista por BCN.
Una cosa... puede ser que llevases un mapa en la mano, abierto, en el momento de hacer la foto? eres tu el "fantasma" que hay encima del capote del coche rojo? (me he quedado contigo? o me he pasado 3 calles?)
Pásatelo muy bien y disfruta! un abrazo.

Hola urbanita, buena composición que tiene casi de todo, la luz del atardecer, el tráfico de la ciudad, el sosiego de la lectora, ... y te estaba buscando en el reflejo de la ventana pero no te veo.
Una foto muy completa y que me gusta.

Miguel - composition superb = I really do like these shots of daily life combined with urban background - the ordinary made intgo a well balance a excellent image
