how i wish you could have a chance to show us a bit more a context why that man in the bottom has his mouth so widely open...
anyway - splendid "action" photo, love the vivid atmosphere of this "event"...

I want to amend the notes...............but before that I would say ..Congratulatios for such a spledid shot Olrik.
Thge inadvertent cropping focuses on the drum and the drum beater.
Withou the blurr, the shot would look less beautiful.
The light management is better.
And now I come to the first line again........
Actually there are six artists in this whole of the composition.
Four are visible, fifth partially visible and the sixth entirely invisible.
I am sure the sixth one who is just caring a brillinat toy of glass and plastic, fibre and metal(and whose weight is not even 600grams and the name of toy is Nikon D70) is the one, who is least exhausted.

I'm going to visit Japan again next week and your photo has me excited for the summer festival season. I really enjoy the Japanese festivals and hope to get a photo as nice as yours.

Hello Olrik,
Wonderful action shot, so much colour and detail. I love the smile on the guy in front, he's having a great time.
The motion blur works well here, gives the shot so much energy.
