Photographer’s Note
I was amazed at how many people were visiting Mount Aso's Nake Dake. It is a very popular tourist destination and there is access all the way to the rim of the crater. On this day however, there was too much gas emmision and the cable car to the crater was not running.
Note the number of tourists scattered over the grassy slopes!
