Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken on the World Heritage Site island of Yakushima. It is the wettest place in Japan yet I was there for 5 days and I never saw a drop. This picture was taken from the top of one of the most popular mountains to hike. The view was very hazy in one direction but this tree really stood out against the blue sky.
Please check this website for more information regarding this amazing island;

Very good composition. The colour of the sky is great and the tree on the left side of the photo makes a grood frame.
