Photographer’s Note

I liked the impressive, triangular cone shape, of the atrium, in this expensive Hotel, across the road from the Yahoo Baseball Dome. The linear perspective in the architecture, was amazing. Taken in Fukuoka, a city of 1,423,000, in the western part of Kyushu Island.

Hi Chris,

magnificent pattern of different transparent structures mixing together and creating most lovely composition. Due to great POV of structure comming from a spot on bottom right and "explodes" all over the capture makes this image very dynamic. Beautifil colour and excelletnly balanced light.

An awesome pattern of lines and shapes have been captured!
I notice the colour palette dominated by shades of blue...
The building design creates a strong feeling of depth in the frame!

A very artistic image, not something we see that often from your hand. But here it's the light and expsoure what makes to to a real beauty. Combining it with the blue steel and your excellent pov it all ends up in a very good photo...very good work.

splendid architectural capture, the construction is excellent captured. It looks like a two layer shot with the facade and the following tunnel. Amazing depth effect. And the bonus are these street reflections in the upper part.

Hey Chris,

This is a really crafty photo, reminds me of Bangkok's new airport in some ways. I think that by taking this across view has resulted in more cross overs than would have been seen end on, and also shows the conical shape (looks more like a cylinder if directly end on). I like that dark tint and bluish hue. Terrific shot.
