Photographer’s Note
An unusual view of the Fukuoka Tower in the distance. I had to go to Japan to renew my E2 visa in September, & did some sightseeing whilst I waited for the Korean Consulate to open.
Fukuoka is on the western Japanese Island of Kyushu, & the old part of the city & the port, are called Hakata.

Hi Chris,
I like the series of stairs here running side by side. You would think that one staircase would be sufficient, but perhaps it is subject to huge pedestrian traffic at times. That tower looks cutting edge, very modern. I also like the line of greenery here that helps to break up the urban majority. Looks like you had nice weather this day. This would have to be the most 'person-less' Japanese city photo I have ever seen!

Bonjour Chris,
Une vue urbaine très linéaire et un pov qui donne de la profondeur à la scène.
Jolie lumière et couleurs douces.

Hello Chris,
Great lead-lines and geometrics from these triple stairs and the tiled overhang, all leading to the very impressive sky line. Excellent clarity.

Hi Chris,
the pattern impression by those stairs a bit added also by the building and well accompanied by the green bushes is nice. Excellent sharpness and contrasts and nice play of light.

Hi Chris,
Striking leading lines the stairs had created to form the main structure of your compo ... well seen and captured. Very clean city considering it is highly populated. Good depth and contrast ... image quality is good too. Well done! tfs

Olá Chris, great visual impact from this strong vertical composition. Nice graphism and repetition effect. Very creative capture, with a nice 'intrusion' of the fluffy green wall on the left.

Hello Chris
I can imagine, at another time of the day, these stairs filled with people and the roads with more cars! A good choice of vertical framing, including the trees on the side giving a nice touch of greenery.
Cheers

It's a really nice shot here...the three stairs are unusual together but the whole setting is very pretty, with a very nice feel to it. It's a cool photo!

This is a very good shot! The series of vertical lines from the 3 sets of stairs, plus the railing, gives this a very unusual appearance, as well as a strong sense of direction. Having the tower in the background, right in line with these lines is great because it continues the theme. Well done!

Hi Chris, A good perspective showing how very tall that tower is, and slim. Good inclusion of interesting details as foreground. I like this a lot. TFS. Murray.
