Photographer’s Note
I arrived in Fukuoka Airport, several hours before my departure flight back to Korea, and found the upper deck almost deserted. From Wikipedia:
"Fukuoka Airport (福岡空港, Fukuoka Kūkō?) (IATA: FUK, ICAO: RJFF), formerly known as Itazuke Air Base, is an international and domestic airport in Fukuoka, Japan. It is officially designated a second class airport. It is currently operating at full capacity, and cannot be further expanded. Flights stop at 10 p.m. to allow local residents some peace and quiet, starting again at 7 a.m..
The airport is conveniently located for Fukuoka residents in Hakata-ku, South-East of the city centre. It is connected to the rest of the city by subway and road, and a subway from the airport to the business district takes less than ten minutes. Yet its very convenience raises questions and concerns about its safety.
Fukuoka Airport is the third largest passenger airport in Japan. In 2005, 18 million people used the airport, while there were 137,000 takeoffs and landings."
I tried a workshop, to repair the film processing stains, I found after uploading.

Hello Chris,
Some very nice graphic lines for this interesting composition, which also has a touch of humour to it with the solitary passenger. Perhaps too much choice, when it comes to selecting a seat ;-) TFS.

Hello Chris,
Interesting composition, where the single person makes the place even more empty!
A well exposed frame with good details in the architecture...
...
And I wish that a HAPPY NEW YEAR will come your way!
Seasonal greetings from a chilly Norway,

Salut Chris,

Excellent ! Great lines, beautiful photo (architecture too) but also great mood and great title - in fact, I prefer generally your photos of wilderness in Mongolia, but once in a while such photo in your gallery is great too and you conveyed well this sense of loneliness that one can experience in those transit halls, specially at night...
TFS,
Cath.

Amazing geometry, amazing also to be alone in such a place that is usually so busy. A very strange feeling.

Hi Chris,
interesting graphical effect by the construction but not a place where I would feel as being a guest. Must be good to leave as soon as possible. The POV is creating depth by the roof and loneliness by the wide capture. Good "cleaning" in the workshop.

Very nice shot! I really like all those lines in the ceiling, which create an interesting pattern and also seem to all converge down toward those seats and the lone person there. Great work!

Hello Chris,
I like the balance in the scene as well as the structure of the beams and the lighting. This airport appears very modern even though it has once been an older airbase.
Excellent shot here...

I like this one Chris. The one person completely alone in this huge construction of glass and steel - good story

The lines make thi so graphical. The single person makes this place so lonely! Very symmetric & balanced shot & I like the ceiling a lot. Good work!
