Photographer’s Note
This was taken just off the famous Dotombori Arcade, the heart of Osaka at night. If you've seen the film Bladerunner, then some vistas of this city may seem familiar. The film's visuals were based on Osaka and seeing the real thing doesn't disappoint. While not the most interesting of the large Japanese cities, it has a unique look and feel. During the day the city is very grey and plain, but at night it turns into a glimmering futuristic metropolis. Another film that was actually set in Osaka is Black Rain. I think the film captured Osaka pretty well.

I think image intention is good. However, image isn't sharp at all, colors are not well defined and reflexes in water are very blurred. Maybe you expose it too much.
Anyway I like this night shots...

I do agree with svo, this is one of those you think: That would be a great photo. I´m love cinema, and this image is very close to pictures like "Metropolis" by Fritz Lang or "Blade Runner" by Ridley Scott. It´s a pitty the lack of definition and the overexposition... Nevertheless, congratulations for the good eye, you get the idea, and this is important too. If you ever comeback there, try again, it will be worthy.
