Photographer's Note
Shika is the Japanese word for "Deer".
In the city of Nara, the deer are free to roam around the city. It's wonderful to wander the streets and watch them walk around and look curiously at the tourists and other visitors to their home.
Of course if they sense food then things change in a hurry and they'll quickly swarm the person holding the food until it's all gone.
