Photographer’s Note
Flowers for a small shrine of a stone Jizo (Sanskrit:Ksitigarbha), a guardian for children in Buddhism.
Faith to Jizo is so common in Japan. Especially in the Kyoto's caltural sphere that includes Otsu city.
Sakamoto, Otsu city

Hallo Keitaro!
An interesting and beautiful picture! In combination with your note it gets a special atmosphere. In Germany we have a proverb: Faith may move mountains...I like the flowers - they are also common here in Germany.
Greetings - and all the best for 2007!
Frank
