Photographer’s Note

I catch these young girl during the Hikone fest where young people are wearing some clothes from the past time.

It is my first picture from my trip around Japan these last 3 weeks. I hope you'll enjoy it

this catch my attention.
the pink and black,just two color is superb combination.included your good composition.it's spectacular picture catch my eyes.excellent for this simple shot.

A very tough exposure with all the backlight. A nice concept here. You may want to also try to switch metering modes to your 9% partial meter of the 20D, metered off the middle girls face and see how that works out in a similar situation.

A slightly lower POV to capture the hands in entirety is something else you might also try. I see you were very far away...so it may not have been possible to get closer and lower....photographers notes would help us on this.

I understand that you liked the pink and might loose it it partial metering mode, that is why I suggested you do that, or maybe bracket such a shot.

Une symphonie en rose pour ce retour sur TE..c'est tout un programme.. et je suis curieux de tes prochains clichés rapportés du Japon.
Cette composition est assez originale, cependant on se demande ce que fait cette jeune fille?

A fine catch of the backlight. The dark necks make a framing with some tension in it. It would be quite different and probably boring if the girl in the middle was alone in the shot.
