Photographer’s Note
12/18 Looking for a replicant (I)
Osaka is such a commercial and industrial centre that it has devoted little thought to seducing turists. But if you are a fan of Blade Runner film It's worth at least one night in Dotombori suburb. Modern and futuristic buildings, neons lights, urban channels with motor boats, Pachinkos, noodles restaurants, all kind of shops and entertainment centers,... and of course milions of souls wandering around the streets. Maybe you can find a replicant amongst the crowd. ;-).
I didn't use the tripod but I held tightly the camera while I was leaning against a wall.

Ricard,
You have captured this well despite not using a tripod. What a wonderful riot and confusion of colour and people.
All the best

Hi Ricard,
In Bladrunner there's a lot of Japanese writing in the streetsigns and huge advertising TV screens. I guess the film's cityscapes were based on Japanese cities such as Osaka and Tokyo. Maybe in the not-too-distant future Japan will resemble Bladerunner - or the rest of the world will resemble Japan. ;)
Your photo shows the crowded nature of the city very well. Very good POV right down in the crowd, nice framing (with so much going on, difficult to judge how to crop the image), and good composition.
The image could do with rotating slightly clockwise.
Thanks for sharing!
