Photographer’s Note
Fresh from my slightly longer layover in Osaka.
This is a botanical garden in Sambonatsu, in Nara district of Osaka. Approximately 150km east of Osaka, 2 hours by limited express train (Kintetsu line).
The color of the garden changes with season, as i was told by the caretaker. In spring, it's full of cherry blossom so its pink, in summer in lavender, and in autumn, it is maroon color. Its about 45 minutes 2km hike up a hill to reach this garden, but i think it's worth it.

Beautiful image, Andrew. The colors are quite spectacular, and I like the overhanging branches with blossoms in the foreground. Very peaceful atmosphere. Well done.
