The Nara Deer are famous for populating this city outside Kyoto. They are everywhere, and are totally unafraid of humans. They're more than unafraid, they're oblivious. This photo was taken with a 28mm lens from about 2-3 feet away at a shrine complex that is known for its carved stone lanterns. Probably the only time I'll use a 28mm for wildlife photography!
